The old adage tells us that if something is just too good to be true then it probably is. So it was with the free file sharing system Ares Destiny that I tried out recently. I’d heard mixed reviews and just wanted to give it a test run. It’s free so I thought that it wouldn’t hurt to try. How wrong I was: it hurt a lot. First off the Ares Destinysoftware is nothing special. There is nothing particularly wrong with it either: it is just mid range stuff that is easily bettered by searching around. This didn’t surprise me a great deal since Ares Destiny is relatively new to the market and I didn’t expect them to get it spot on first time around. The big surprise – and it is not one of those nice surprises like you would expect on a birthday or at Christmas – is that during installation (which was, unsurprisingly in hindsight, pretty much an automatic affair) it had managed to squeeze Dealio onto my computer. Dealio is spyware, pure and simple, and unless you really like popups every few minutes it will get annoying very, very soon. As a parting shot, it turns out that Dealio is pretty much impossible to get rid of. Steer well clear of Ares Destiny!

Ares is the most popular p2p file interchange system. It has constantly strived to satisfy its users and provide them the latest technology. This goes to explain why newer version of ares software consistently hits the market. It was all well until the extremely popular windows operating system came up with its vista version.

The new security measures like UAC (user access control) introduced by this closely monitors the way ares filesharing network connects to the network. As a result, the efficiency of ares seemed to be insufficient: however, things did not remain like this for long because Ares Windows 7 almost followed windows vista. The problem was quickly identified and solved with Ares Windows 7.

Along with compatibility with Microsoft’s new operating system, Ares Windows 7 has enhanced features and functions than any of its predecessors. An impressive one among them is that it has taken the overloaded supernodes problem too in its stride! Every time it is connected, Ares Windows 7 updates a list of snodes that are capable to handle your initial data. Once you find the right one, you can kick start your activities. Right here right now (in fact in a long long time to come) Ares Windows 7 is the best file sharing program.
